City Of Lodi

The City of Lodi continues to invest in upgrades to Lodi Lake Park, including reconstructing parking lots, replacing restrooms and playground equipment, adding picnic structures, and improving pathways, lighting, and irrigation. These improvements aim to enhance accessibility, safety, and the overall visitor experience

Lodi Parks and Recreation

Lodi Parks and Recreation oversees a robust park system in Lodi, California, managing 367 acres of parkland and 28 parks. Lodi Lake Park, with it;s Nature Trail, Lake Beach, Picnic Areas, Boat Launch, and Boat House, is the centerpiece of Lodi’s park system and a popular destination for both locals and visitors.

Lodi Community Foundation

The Lodi Community Foundation is a local, independent, tax-exempt public charity based in Lodi, California, with over three decades of experience in managing charitable assets. Lodi Lake is specifically supported through the Foundation’s partnership with the City of Lodi’s Parks & Recreation Department.

Rotary

Lodi Lake is a central community hub and recreational area in Lodi, and the Rotary clubs have a strong connection to it. The Rotary Area at Lodi Lake Park is a designated subfacility that includes features such as picnic areas, BBQs, and RV camping facilities

Lodi Lake Nature Trail Docents

The Nature Trail Docents are reforming and hope to re-recruit some of the original members. The docents will greet visitors at the Nature Trail Welcome Center (when open) and offer guided tours of the Lake and Trail. Look for “Aunt Estella:” for a unique historical perspective.

Kiwanis

The Kiwanis Area at Lodi Lake is a dedicated section within Lodi Lake Park, designed for gatherings and community events. This area is well-equipped for medium to large groups. A notable tradition involving Kiwanis at Lodi Lake is the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast held every July 4th

Tree Lodi

Tree Lodi is a community group focused on Lodi’s Urban Forest, planting community trees and memorial trees, implementing Lodi’s Shade Tree Program and hosting the annual Arbor Day Celebration.

Friends of Lodi Lake

The Friends of Lodi Lake is a community organization focused on conservation, stewardship, coordination, and promotion of Lodi Lake as a unique natural asset of Lodi. The original group’s activities and membership have ramped down. A group is reforming and recruiting new members, sponsors and partners

Storm Drain Detectives

The Storm Drain Detectives is a community-based, educational program in Lodi, focused on monitoring and protecting the water quality of the Mokelumne River and Lodi Lake. The program was established in 2000 as a collaborative effort among teachers, students, community members, and the City of Lodi Public Works Department.
