Now & Coming Soon

Spring Activities at Lodi Lake

🚣

Kayaking & Paddleboarding Season Begins

The Lodi Boathouse is now open for the season (April through October)! Explore the calm waters of the Mokelumne River by kayak or paddleboard. Rentals available, plus guided river tours showcasing local wildlife — deer, beavers, foxes, and our abundant bird population.

🌿

Nature Trail Hiking & Birding

Spring is the perfect time to explore our 3.2 miles of nature trails through old-growth riparian forest, shaded by majestic oaks, cottonwoods, and native trees. With spring migration underway, birding enthusiasts will find excellent opportunities to spot both resident and migratory species. Don't forget your binoculars!

☀️

Lodi Lake Beach Opens Soon

Our seasonally open sandy beach will be returning for summer fun, typically from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Watch for announcements about the official opening date!

Animal Control has been investigating recent incidents involving deer in the Nature Area. Please observe these important guidelines to protect both visitors and wildlife:

✓   Maintain a safe distance from all wildlife, especially deer
✓   Never attempt to feed wild animals
