Spring has arrived at Lodi Lake, and we're thrilled to share an exciting lineup of events and activities for April! From our new monthly Second Saturdays program to seasonal recreation opportunities, there's something for everyone to enjoy at our beautiful 100-acre riparian habitat.

Second Saturdays is a monthly community program presented in partnership with Friends of Lodi Lake, Lodi Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services, and various community partners. Each month features different themes and activities designed to connect families with nature. Mark your calendars for 10am on the second Saturday of every month!

Kayaking & Paddleboarding Season Begins
The Lodi Boathouse is now open for the season (April through October)! Explore the calm waters of the Mokelumne River by kayak or paddleboard. Rentals available, plus guided river tours showcasing local wildlife — deer, beavers, foxes, and our abundant bird population.

Nature Trail Hiking & Birding
Spring is the perfect time to explore our 3.2 miles of nature trails through old-growth riparian forest, shaded by majestic oaks, cottonwoods, and native trees. With spring migration underway, birding enthusiasts will find excellent opportunities to spot both resident and migratory species. Don't forget your binoculars!

Lodi Lake Beach Opens Soon
Our seasonally open sandy beach will be returning for summer fun, typically from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Watch for announcements about the official opening date!

🦌 Wildlife Safety Reminder
Animal Control has been investigating recent incidents involving deer in the Nature Area. Please observe these important guidelines to protect both visitors and wildlife:
| ✓ Maintain a safe distance from all wildlife, especially deer |
| ✓ Never attempt to feed wild animals |
| ✓ Dogs are prohibited in the Nature Area |
| ✓ Do not approach sick, injured, or deceased wildlife — contact Animal Control immediately |
| ✓ Report concerning wildlife activity to park staff |
